Elizabeth "Betty" A. Martins
January 9th, 1935 - May 10th, 2024
West Brookfield- Elizabeth A. "Betty" Martins, 89, passed away May 10, 2024. She was born on January 9, 1935 in Palmer to the late Isadore and Sophie (Czajka) Perry. Betty earned her bachelor's degree from Western New England College. She worked as an Executive Secretary at Zero Manufacturing in Monson for most of her career and later retired from Mass Mutual in Springfield. Betty loved to travel and enjoyed spending countless winters in Florida. She was a talented organ player and she loved spending time with her family and her grandchildren. Betty is survived by her daughters, Laurel Laroche of Brimfield and Dianne Martins of Cape Cod; her brother, Edward Perry and his wife Elaine of West Brookfield; her grandchildren, Jennifer Henrich DeJoinville of Palmer, Martin Henrich of Palmer, Adam Laroche of Three Rivers, and Michelle Dansereau and her husband Kevin of Belchertown; her great-grandchildren, Alyson Boyer of Belchertown, Taryn DeJoinville of Palmer, Morgan Henrich of Palmer, Samantha Henrich of Warren, and Madison and Charlotte Dansereau of Belchertown; and her three great-great-grandchildren, Chaeli, Teagan, and Odin ; as well as several nieces and nephews. An hour of visitation will be held on Friday, May 17, 2024, from 10:00-11:00am with a memorial service to begin at 11:00am at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home.
