Elizabeth M. O'Connor October 15, 1920 - September 11, 2011 Elizabeth M. O'Connor passed away Sunday, September 11, 2011 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Syracuse, New York. She was a former resident of Marcellus, New York and Auburn, New York and most recently Baldwinsville, New York. She is survived by her children, Elizabeth Tracy (John Dubiel) Passarello of Liverpool, New York, Barbara Thompson (Roy) of Atlanta, Georgia and Michael O'Connor of Auburn, New York; grandchildren, Josh and Carly Passarello of Auburn, New York, Nick and Molly Zichettella of Savannah, Georgia; brother-in-law, William Yoxall and niece, Debra Mulvey of Connecticut. Elizabeth is also survived by her devoted cat, Connor. She was predeceased by her husband, Edmund A. O'Connor in 1965; parents, Frederick and Faye (Banford) Gilligan of Ontario, Canada and her beloved sister, Jeanne Yoxall. Per Elizabeth's request, services are private. Her ashes will be spread at the site of her summer home on Cayuga Lake. Donations in memory of Elizabeth's love for animals may be made to the CNY SPCA, 5878 East Molloy Rd. Syracuse, NY 13211.
