Elizabeth J. Welsh Groveland/Indian Harbour Beach Elizabeth J. Welsh entered eternal glory on May 6, 2021, surrounded by her husband of 66 years and her three children. Elizabeth graduated from St. Michaels School of Nursing, attended Seton Hall University, and graduated from Rollins College with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in psychology and sociology. She proudly served as a Lieutenant JG with the Navy Nurse Corp during the Korean War. She was a dedicated registered nurse for 40 years and worked with the elderly until retirement. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents, Stanley and Mary Elizabeth Leimer and her sister Rosemary Dyke. Donations in her honor can be made to Partners in Hope St. Jude Research Hospital, a charity very dear to her heart. Services are private and a memorial mass will be held at a later date.
