Ella Grace Hickman

Ella Grace Hickman was taken up into the arms of Jesus on August 19, 2024.  Ella was born on August 19, 2024, in Nashville, TN to Jessie Hickman and Chelsea Wallen of Surgoinsville.  

 

She was preceded in death by her great grandparents Harvey and Bolena Patterson, Boyd and Nannie Kate Wallen, Wayne and Mary Lox Hickman, Ronald and Ada Mauk. She is also preceded in death by her cousin Abby Gail Watkins. Those left to cherish her memory are her father and mother Jessie and Chelsea Hickman, brother Mason Hickman, furry sisters Stella and Willow, grandparents Kim and Sandra McDavid, Marc and Connie Williford, Rick and Brandy Hickman. Papa and Gigi Greg and Peggy Horton. Aunts as follows Savannah Patterson, Kimberly and husband Jeramie McGehee, Emily McDavid. Uncle Payton Hickman. Cousins Hope Justice, Olivia and Joseph McGehee. She has several more great aunts and uncles and lots of family and friends. A special thank you to the Vanderbilt Hospital for the amazing and caring staff that was there through everything.                                                             

 

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 30, 2024, at Carter-Trent Funeral Home in Church Hill, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.  A funeral service will follow at 7:00 pm with Pastor Mark Roberts officiating.  A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at Hawkins County Memorial Garden at 11:00 am.  Rick Hickman and Michael Hutson will be serving as pallbearers.  Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the cemetery at 10:50 am.
