Mrs. EllaMae Ianniello, 77, of Lafayette Street, Palatine Bridge, passed away Tuesday morning at her home. Born January 10, 1928 in Palatine Bridge, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Nina Cool Pentland. Mrs. Ianniello was a lifelong resident and attended local schools. She was employed by the Beechnut Corporation and retired as secretary to the general manager. Mrs. Ianniello was a member of the Palatine Literary Society and the Court Catherine Esther, Catholic Daughters OF The Americas and was of the Roman Catholic Faith. Mrs. Ianniello was married to Angelo Ernest Ianniello, he predeceased her on February 14, 1974. Survivors include one daughter; Suzanne Van Orsouw and husband John, one son; Michael Ianniello, two sisters; Ruth Hatter and Shirley Van Slyke, all of Palatine Bridge, a brother; Stanley Pentland, of Sharon, one sister-in-law, Rosemarie Salvagni and her husband Rudy, of Palatine Bridge, one grandson; Shaun Van Orsouw, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. A Memorial Mass will be offered at St. James Roman Catholic Church, Ft. Plain at the convenience of the family, Fr. Kenneth Swain celebrant. There will be no calling hours. Internment will be in Sts. Peter and Paul?s Cemetery .In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice, 201 Steele Ave. Ext., Gloversville, NY 12078. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Lenz & Betz Funeral Home, 69 Otsego St., Canajoharie.
