Ellen Crabtree

Crabtree, Ellen Williams 80, of St. Petersburg, died Wednesday, July 24, 2013.. Born in Pittsboro, North Carolina, she came here in 2011. She graduated from Pittsboro High School. She was a dedicated Christian, and helped with bake sales and however she was needed to raise funds for First Baptist Church. Ellen was a caring woman who liked to help people when she could. She was a creative and generous caretaker to whomever needed her help. She always put her needs second to those of her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, H.S and Ola Williams. She is survived by her son Steven W. Crabtree and his wife Beth Crabtree. A celebration of Ellen's life will be held in Chapel Hill, N.C. at a future date.
