Ellen Judith Fisher

On the first day of summer, the season of light, Ellen Fisher, our bright spirit, left us for a higher world. Ellen had a spirit that was full of creativity, compassion, and a talent for the impractical that could best be described as usually endearing. To say her life was theater says it all. Ellen burst into this world on January 4, 1983, preloaded with carefree flourishes and important things to say. She had many gifts to give, and she couldn't wait to get started. By the age of 3, she was leaving adults shaking their heads with her indispensable observations. She never stopped giving and amazing till the last day of her life. Her mother, her father, her loving family and everyone she touched bless her and wish her Godspeed. We give our love and thanks to the staff at St. Joseph Medical Center for so gracefully easing her passing. To honor and remember her, be good to each other, and do your best to give something good to the world each day. A memorial service will be held at the Slavonian Hall, 2306 N 30th St, Tacoma, at 3 pm on July 5.
