Ellen V Roesch, 85, passed away on Monday, February 19th 2024, at Loretto Sedgwick Heights in Syracuse, NY. Ellen was born on September 16, 1938, in Syracuse, NY, to Lynn J. Burgess and Ethel (Parks) Burgess. She graduated from Fabius-Pompey Central High School. She later met her husband John Edward Roesch while working as a bank teller in Syracuse and then married John E. Roesch, however, years later divorced and he predeceased her. She had a smile that lit up her face. She is survived by her daughter Lynn Ann Roesch and sibling Barbara (John-predeceased) Wilcox, cousins and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by siblings Janet (George-predeceased) Mason and Jay Burgess. If you would like to pay your respects, you are welcome to attend the graveside service in her honor on Tuesday, 10:00AM on February 27, 2024, at Walnut Grove Cemetery Jamesville, NY. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Ellen’s name to NAMI of Syracuse.
