Ellen L. Scully, 98, of Las Vegas, passed away on Wednesday, September 1, 2021. Ellen was born December 7, 1922 in Chicago, IL to the late Abraham and the late Dorothy Linder. Ellen was very involved and supportive in the Jewish community including Brandeis Women, the Jewish Community Center and Temple Beth Sholom. She is survived by her children Robert (Dale) Scully, Philip (Andi) Scully and Joni (Michael) Malin; grandchildren Jessica (Andrew) Jablon, Jeremy (Genyne) Malin, Robin (Robert) Stein, David (Olivia) Scully, Brian Scully and Jennifer Scully; great-grandchildren Veronica, Eliana and Aubrey Jablon, Lindsey and Alyssa Stein, Jaxen and Aria Malin, and Samuel and Vivian Scully; and nieces Barb (Julian Gray) Epstien, Gail (Randy Iden) Scully and Gwen (Mike Kaplin) Scully. She is predeceased by her husband Lawrence Scully and her sister Shirley Stein.The graveside service will be held at 12:00 pm on Friday, September 3, 2021 at Palm Mortuary & Cemetery, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., Las Vegas, NV.Contributions in Ellen’s memory may be directed toward the Scully Library at Temple Beth Sholom.
