Elmer Robison

Elmer G. Robison went to be with the Lord on November 25, 2012 at home surrounded by his family. He was born on March 5, 1934 in New Madrid, Missouri to Richard Dale and Estella Ann (Neff) Robison. He was the youngest of 11 children. The family traveled and finally moved to Idaho where he lived for most of his life. He married the love of his life, Florence J. Carver on February 13, 1953. He joined the Army April 26, 1952. He was honorably discharged February 13, 1967. He worked at J.R. Simplot from 1969-1992. He loved fishing, hunting, spending time with family, playing cards and bingo. He’s survived by his brother Junior Robison ,4 daughters, Shari Martin, Ann Rockey, Virginia (Ed) Norris all of Caldwell Idaho and Linda (Jim) Schleif of Nampa, Idaho. He has 9 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren. He’s preceded in death by his wife Florence, 2 daughters Billie and Bobbi Robison, his parents, 9 brothers and sisters, one son-in-law, one grandson-in-law, one grandchild, and one great grandchild. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 pm Monday, December 3, 2012 at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell. He will be dearly missed. Service Information

In 1984, Flahiff Chapels expanded its facility with the addition of Canyon and Owyhee County’s first crematory.
