Eloise G. Corbitt, age 78, of LaBelle passed away Feb 12, 2012 in Cape Coral, FL. She was born Feb. 17, 1933 in Venus, FL, the daughter of the late Mathey and the late Annie (Davis) Gay. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and loved going to the farm, gardening and cooking for her family. She lived most of her life in Immokalee before moving to LaBelle in 2002. Survivors include her children: Jason (Kathy) Corbitt of Immokalee, Bruce (Sharon) Corbitt of LaBelle, Steve (Shelly) Corbitt of LaBelle, Kathy Corbitt of Naples, Calvin Corbitt of Immokalee and Sarah (George) Bambera of NJ, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews . She is also survived by her faithful companion, her poodle, Penny. She was predeceased by her husband: Frank James Corbitt and sons: Baby Boy Corbitt, Jimmy Corbitt and Ralph Corbitt. The Graveside Funeral Service will be held Thurday, February 16, 2012, 10:00 a.m. at Baptist Cemetery in Immokalee with Rev. George Bambera officiating. Interment will follow in Baptist Cemetery, Immokalee. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hope Hospice, 2430 Diplomat Parkway E, Cape Coral, FL 33909.
