Eloise B. Parker
February 18th, 1937 - May 5th, 2013
Parker, Eloise B. 76, of Seminole, FL died Sunday, May 5, 2013, at Hospice Woodside in Pinellas Park. Eloise was born in Ty Ty, GA and came to Florida as a teenager. She lived in Jacksonville, Punta Gorda and St. Petersburg before moving to Seminole. She and her family also lived in New Jersey for a period. Her primary career was as mother and wife to her family, but she also worked at Prudential Insurance, sold real estate, operated her own delicatessen business and managed rental apartments she owned with her husband. She enjoyed playing golf, cards and board games with friends and family. After retiring in 1995, she and her husband enjoyed boating and traveled extensively in a motor home and on cruise ships. They have visited all fifty states, all Canadian provinces and many towns in Mexico, as well as quite a few other foreign countries. Eloise was preceded in death by her parents, Lebbus and Jewel Bone. Her survivors include her husband of 50 years, Stanley R. Parker; two sons, Bradley K. Parker of Elko, NV, and Randall A. Parker of St. Petersburg; two grand-daughters, Ashley and Lauren Parker of St. Petersburg; and a brother, Charles E. Bone of Jacksonville. She also had great affection for her brothers-, sisters-, and daughters-in law. There will be a Celebration of Life at 2 pm Saturday, May 11, 2013, at Reese Funeral Home, 6767 Seminole Blvd., Seminole, FL, 33772. A reception will follow immediately after the service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation to the American Cancer Society or Suncoast Hospice is suggested.
