Mrs. Eloise L. Rutledge, 88, of Auburndale, Florida passed away November 11, 2022, Good Shepherd Hospice Auburndale, Florida. She was born on August 18, 1934, in Coal Grove, Ohio to Lloyd and Sadie Mae Steed. Eloise was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, but most of all she was a devout woman of God. Her relationship with God was first and foremost in her life and she taught her children to have one too. She was an avid reader, and she knew the Bible very well. She always made sure that her family had what they needed. She was definitely what the Bible describes as a Virtuous Woman. She also loved spending time with her neighborhood friends. Mrs. Eloise is survived by 3 sons: Bryan Jacob Rutledge (Annette) of Naples, Florida, Jeffrey Rutledge (Mala) of Auburndale, Florida and Pat Rutledge (Michelle) of Winter Haven, Florida. 2 sisters, Diane Johnson-Waldsmith and Judy Johnson-Masters. She also leaves to cherish her beautiful memory, 7 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Martin Rutledge, Parents: Lloyd Steed, Sadie Mae Ellis. The family will receive friends at Kersey Funeral Home on November 16, 2022, from 9:00AM - 10:00AM Funeral services will be at !0AM with Pastor Robert Porter officiating. Interment will be at Auburndale Memorial Park.
