Elsie PinkstonA memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, at Willamette Christian Center for Elsie Ann Pinkston of Eugene, who died Sept. 4 of cancer. She was 81.She was born May 16, 1928, in Klamath Falls to Joshua and Mary Langenbeder Griffith. She married Donald Pinkston on Aug. 23, 1958, in Klamath Falls.She was a 1946 graduate of Klamath Union High School, earned a bachelor of science degree from Southern Oregon College and graduated from Southeastern Bible College in Lakeland, Fla., with a full ministorial certificate. She was an elementary school teacher and a homemaker.Survivors include her husband; a son, Mark of Salem; a daughter, Rebecca Ann Edwards of Junction City; a sister, Irene Haines of Omaha, Neb.; and four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.Arrangements by Musgrove Fanily Mortuary, Eugene.
