Elsie Snyder Rushing, 79, of Kernersville passed away peacefully Friday October 25, 2019. A graveside service celebrating her life will be held 2:00PM Saturday October 26, 2019 at Gardens of Memory, Walkertown, NC with Rev. Frank Shumate officiating. The family will greet friends from 12:00PM to 12:45PM Saturday at Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Service. A native of Forsyth County, NC, Elsie was the wife of 46 years to the late, Harold Lewis Rushing and the daughter of the late, Hosea Lee Snyder and Mozelle Pope Snyder. Survivors include her son, Duane Linville and wife, Mitzi of Kernersville, NC; daughter, Randie Griffin and husband, Lawrence of Winston-Salem, NC; grandchildren, Brittany Ridge and husband, Jason, Amanda Hudson and husband, Caleb, and Justin Griffin and wife, Kiser; sisters, Gladys Paschal, and twin sister, Erline Shelton; brothers, Leon Snyder, and Arnold Snyder.
