GANO, Elvis R. Jr. "Red," went home to be with the Lord Thursday, March 18, 2010. He was born August 21, 1922, in Mascotte, Fla. Elvis served in the U.S. Coast Guard during World War II. He worked for Pepsi-Cola Inc. in Tampa for 46 years, retiring as general manager. Elvis served as president of Donwtown Kiwanis Club and was a long time member of Carrollwood Baptist Church where he also served as deacon. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Angelina; two daughters, Patricia and Marcia; one son, Richard and his wife Lynda; five grandchildren, Russell, Kyle, Melody, Alayne and Jordan; two great grandsons, Nathan and Evan; and one brother, Zerney. The memorial service for Elvis will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, March 22, 2010 at Carrollwood Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service.
