Elza Trinkle

Mr. Elza Trinkle, age 92, a resident of Polk City, Florida passed away Thursday, August 15, 2024, at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. Mr. Trinkle was born July 10, 1932, in Valeene, Indiana to John Benjamin and Maudie (Longest) Trinkle. He was a Polk City resident since 1984, coming from Indiana. Mr. Trinkle retired from General Motors as a Punch Press Operator and was a United States Army Veteran. He enjoyed spending time with his family & friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; 6 brothers and 4 sisters. Mr. Trinkle is survived by his loving family, wife of 69 years – Rosemary Trinkle of Polk City; son – Timmy Lee (Judy) Trinkle of Polk City; 1 granddaughter – Maryann Denise Trinkle of Indiana; 3 great grandchildren – Mikayla, Mallory & Matt, many nieces, nephews & cousins all of Indiana. An inurnment will be held at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell at a later date.
