Emilio Guadalupe Chavez passed away in Albuquerque on Tuesday, January 17th at the age of 69. He was born in San Antonio, New Mexico on October 30th 1947. Emilio is survived by his loving wife Helen Chavez of 47 years. They were married in San Antonio, New Mexico on September 24, 1968. Emilio is lovingly remembered by his sons Avelino Chavez, Emilio Chavez Jr, his partner David Baca., Albert Chavez and his wife Judith Chavez, daughter MariaElena Chavez-Niola and her husband Gianni Niola, granddaughters Celeste Chavez and Shenia Chavez, grandsons Marco Velasquez, Tony Chavez, Albert Chavez Jr., great grandson Hunter Chavez-Hatton, his brothers Manuel Chavez, wife Helen Chavez and Albert Lopez, wife Stella Lopez. Emilio is preceded in death by his dad Thomas Ramon Chavez and mom Juana Maria Chavez brother Avelino Chavez, great grandson Avi Chavez. Emilio touched the hearts of so many regardless of who they were. He loved spending time with his family and going to the casinos with his wife and he loved cruising in his GT.
