Emily Brianna Hart, 27, passed away February 15, 2023, in Olympia, Washington, after a brief fight with cancer. She was born April 15, 1995, to Curtis and Teri Hart in Olympia. She resided in Lacey, Washington, her entire life. Emily graduated from Lacey’s Timberline High School in 2014. She was tutored by her Grandma Carole and they had an especially close relationship. Emily worked as a weekend custodian at Roo-Lan Memory Care Center from 2018 to 2020. She was a member of Seeds for Growth in Lacey. To know Emily was to love her. She was happy nearly all the time and sported a becoming smile. She was beautiful with brown, curly hair and brown eyes. She collected Pop Funkos and loved anime, nature documentaries, and being in nature. Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium was a favorite place to visit. She also loved animals, especially her cat, Chester. She is survived by her parents, Curtis and Teri Hart; brother, Justin Koehn of Maine; sister, Tara Colombo of Texas; and grandparents, Carole Hart, Shirley Readnour, and Elwood and Nancy Hart. She was preceded by her grandfather, Rudy Readnour. Memorial donations may be made to the Autism Society of America.
