Emily D. Pochinski Of Waukesha, passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2011, at her home at the age of 78 years. Emily was born in Cassel, Wisconsin on September 16, 1932, a daughter of Leo and Balbena Brodjieski. She was a longtime member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Waukesha. Emily worked in the bakery department of Sentry Foods for many years. She enjoyed sharing her baking talents with her family through homemade birthday and wedding cakes. Emily also loved traveling with her sisters, shopping with her daughters and watching her great-grandchildren. Emily will be sadly missed by her sons, Jerry (Vickie) Pochinski, Larry (Karen) Pochinski, and Kenneth (Angi) Pochinski; daughters, Linda (Dennis) Schickowski, and Sandy (Albert) Garcia; grandchildren, Eric (Katie) Schickowski, Shane (Rachel) Schickowski, Matthew (Karrie) Pochinski, Daniel Pochinski, Katie (Frank) Robb, Amber Pochinski, Jason (Beth) Garcia, Brittney Garcia, Ashton Pochinski, Taryn Pochinski, Bryce Pochinski, Christopher Platke, and Amanda Platke; great-grandchildren, Joshua, Christian, Benjamin, David, Elena, Aaiden, Jaxston, Devon, Brady, J'Lynn, Oliver, and Emily; brothers, David (Judy) Brodjieski, Ronald (Gloria) Brodjieski, and Chet (Shirley) Brodjieski; sisters, Theresa Tulickas, Leona ( Eddie) Hart, Delores Walters, Jean (Richard) Kudronowicz, and Shirley Fosbender. Emily is further survived by her sister-in-laws, Evelyn Jurgella, Helen (Clarence) Brzezinski, Loretta Barnett, Caroline (Mel) Flegner and Mary Duerr; and one brother-in-law, Robert Pochinski; other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Herman; parents; and other relatives. The Mass of Christian Burial for Emily will be held on Friday, April 29, 2011, at 1:00 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 822 N. East Ave., Waukesha, WI 53186. The Reverend William Key will be officiating. The visitation will be on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the 1:00 p.m. Mass at the church. Entombment will immediately follow the Mass at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Waukesha.
