Emily Elizabeth Works

Emily Elizabeth Works, 33, of Meridian, Idaho, passed away on December 3, 2023. She was born on August 7, 1990, in Berkeley, California. Emily was a loving person who adored children and dedicated her life to serving disadvantaged youth. She also had a passion for vocal music and ballroom dancing, which brought her great joy. Emily is survived by her beloved son, Samuel Works, her father Jeff Works, her mother Nina Works, her brothers Jason Works and Benjamin Works, as well as numerous cousins, aunts and uncles. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Emily pursued higher education at Liberty University, where she honed her expertise in early-childhood development. She later worked in the Head Start program and as a Behavioral Interventionist in the Nampa School district, making a positive impact on the lives of countless children. Emily loved the Lord Jesus and worshiped at The Pursuit church in Boise Idaho, finding solace and strength in her faith. Her commitment to her beliefs was an inspiration to all who knew her. A memorial service to honor Emily’s life will be held at Calvary Chapel Meridian, located at 3600 W. Nelis Drive, Merician Idaho on Saturday, January 13 at 2:30 PM. The service will provide an opportunity for Family and friends to come together and celebrate the beautiful person that Emily was.
