June 30th, 1921 - July 11th, 2018
Kingsport – Emma Lou “Jean” Beverly, 97 of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at Wexford House following a lengthy illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Beverly; daughter, Teresa Beverly. Emma is survived by her daughter, Sharon Beverly May and husband Don May; 2 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 12 a.m. – 1 p.m. Saturday, July 14, 2018 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home. A funeral will follow at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Steve Tilley officiating. Burial will follow in East Lawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Carter-Trent Funeral Home, downtown Kingsport is serving the Beverly family.
