Emma Diane Gale, 60, of Walla Walla, WA, formerly of Homedale died December 8, 2009, at the University Washington Hospital, Seattle on December 8, 2009. A viewing will be at Flahiff Funeral Chapel in Homedale on Wed. December 16th from 5-8 P.M. her service will be held at the Seventh Day Adventist Church of Homedale on Thursday, December 17th at 10:30 A.M. with burial to follow at Marsing-Homedale Cemetery. Diane was born January 27, 1949, at Fort Wayne, IN, a daughter of Thomas and Eva Chapman. She moved with her family to California where they were migrant field workers. She married Michael Gale on March 4, 1967 at Quartzsite, AZ. They moved to Homedale in 1976 where she worked for J.C. Watson for 13 years packing fruit. In 1990 Diane and Michael moved to Walla Walla, where she worked for Shopko until 1997 when she had a brain aneurysm. She endured several health issues since that time. Diane enjoyed fishing, being a homemaker, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband Michael, her son Michael James Gale Jr., a daughter-in-law Lisa, Nampa, ID, three daughters and sons-in-law Cynthia Diane and Michael Morris, Federal Way, WA, Tammy Ann and David Bohlman, Burbank, WA, Heather Marie and Peter Miller, Walla Walla, WA, nine grandchildren, Shelby, Haley, P.J., Emma, Erik, Benjamin, Ember, Isaac and Lillie, two brothers Gary and James, four sisters Marie, Eva, Nancy and Susie. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Tom. Memorials may be given to University of Washington Organ Transplant Specialties. Service Information
