Enrique G. Sarmiento

November 13th, 1942 - July 25th, 2020

Enrique G. Sarmiento of Canby, Oregon passed away at the age of 77 on July 25th of 2020 surrounded by his family at his home. He was born in Weslaco, Texas to parents Conception and Eluterio Sarmiento. He had an associate's degree in diesel mechanic where he displayed his skills working for P.G.E. for over 25 years. Prior to that he served in the army where he survived combat battle and was discharged honorably with a sergeant rank. He will be dearly missed but never forgotten!He also served as a volunteer fireman of Canby the town he lived in for over 50 years. He was married for 58 years to his wife Lupe who was by his side till his last breath. He is survived by his wife-Lupe L. Sarmiento, daughter-Estela S. Dozal and son in law-Alfonso Dozal Jr. A viewing will be held at Canby Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, July 29, 2020 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. Enrique will be laid to rest at Willamette National Cemetery. He will be dearly missed but never forgotten!
