Eric D. Leduc

"Belchertown-Eric D. Leduc, 31, of Federal St. died tragically September 26 as a result of an auto accident. Born March 20, 1976 in Homestead, FL, he is the son of David W. and Lori A. (Smith) Leduc of Reddick, FL. Eric has worked for many years with his uncle and cousins as the St. Laurent Bros, previously managing his parents ice cream Shop, Roger’s Place in Chicopee. He enjoyed hunting, video games, poker, golf, horse racing and carpentry. Besides his parents, Eric will be greatly missed by his fiancé Sandra Ely and their children Tiffani, Ryan and Brianna and their dog Ali all of Belchertown. He also leaves his brother Joey Leduc of Reddick, FL his maternal grandmother Dorothy Smith of Chicopee, along with aunts and uncles, Tammy St. Laurent and her husband Mark, Veronika Leduc, Anna and her husband Sharef Shehemi and many nieces and nephews. Eric will also be remembered by his cousins Fred, Jr. and Sherry Nichlen, Kevin, Nicholas, and Ashley St. Laurent, Khalid and Iman Shehemi. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather Arthur (A.O.) Smith, and paternal grandparents Walter and Gisela Leduc. A visitation will be held Sunday from 2:00-5:00 p.m. at the Beers & Story Belchertown Funeral Home. A service of remembrance will follow Monday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home followed by burial in South Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Eric Leduc Childrens Memorial Fund c/o Country Bank, 75 Main St., Ware, MA 01082."
