Eric Brennan Vaughn

Obituary In loving memory of Eric Brennan Vaughn who passed away October 24, 2014. Born in Lafayette, Louisiana on November 11, 1983, Eric grew up in Colorado. He graduated from high school in Anchorage, Alaska and joined the Marine Corps shortly thereafter. Eric proudly and honorably served his country during two tours in Iraq and one tour in Afghanistan before being honorably discharged as a Lance Corporal. Since returning to Colorado, he has been serving in a plumbers apprenticeship. Eric lived life to the fullest, with no regrets and had many passions and gifts. He was a talented artist and guitar player. He loved music, Jeeps, archery, hunting, fishing and the mountains. Being a father and being outdoors brought him the most joy. Eric is survived by his beloved Heather and their two-year old daughter Ellie, his parents Bob and Susan Vaughn of Greeley, Colorado, and his siblings Anna ( Brandon), Ryan, Karen (Brant), and Connor, along with nieces, Isabella, Olivia and Zoey and a nephew, Tristen. Eric will be remembered by his family, Marine brothers, and many friends as a man with an easy smile, abundant sense of humor, and a big heart. We will miss you and love you forever Eric. Until we regroup! Be at peace. A graveside service is scheduled for Thursday, October 30, 2014, 9:15 AM, Fort Logan National Cemetery, Staging Area "C", Denver, CO. A "Celebration of Life" will be at 11am at American Legion Post 178, 1655 Simms St, Lakewood, CO. In lieu of flowers you may donate to the family for an education fund for Ellie.
