Erick Daniel Rios

Obituary SFC Erick Daniel Rios, 32, took his last ride on Saturday, October 17, 2020 in Colorado Springs due to a motorcycle accident. He was born November 1, 1987 in Arecibo, Puerto Rico to Yubarai Lopez-Jimenez and Edgardo Luis Rios Perez. Erick enlisted in the US Army on March 21, 2007 and was currently stationed at Ft. Carson, CO. Erick was happiest when he was on his bike, riding with his brothers, and dancing to music that only he could hear. He had an infectious personality and made friends everywhere he went. He was forever selfless and giving and he was always someone that could be counted on. He is survived by his Wife, Cassandra Erin Rios and their two children, Jacquelin Nicole and Ian Daniel. He is also survived by his mother, Yubarai Lopez Jimenez and her husband, Dagoberto Garcia Castro; Father, Edgardo Luis Rios Perez and his wife, Martha Rios Perez; brother, Edgardo Luis Rios Lopez and wife, Susana Orozco and their children, Angel Luis Rios Orozco, Alexander Daniel Rios Orozco, and Alani Rios Orozco; sister Yashira Rios Lopez and her husband, Victor Concepcon Ramos and their children, Victor Concepcon Rios, Yaranis Concepcon Rios, and Karina Concepcon Rios; sister Lianie Lopez and her children, Jayden Isaiha Colon Lopez and Johanilys Marie Lopez; sister Zahira Rios Velazquez; brother, Luis Daniel Rios; sister, Yaritza Rios; and sister Waleska Rios. I stood and I watched as my Brother rode by, it wasnt the way it should be. He rode not his bike, but in a long black cage, and he road by himself not with me. But I shed not a tear for this Brother of mine, for he lived free and loved his lifestyle. So, ride on my Brother and rest in peace, until we meet again after a while. And when my time comes to take that last ride, you can bet itll be with a smile. Cause I love to ride and Ill be going home, so Ill enjoy it to the very last mile.
