ERMA LUCILLE CROSBY-WILSON Erma Lucille Crosby-Wilson, 91, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2010 after a short time at Enloe Medical Center from a massive lung infection. Erma was born in Buffalo, Missouri on August 27, 1918. Erma married Albert B. Crosby on March 28, 1936. Erma and Al had two children, Lucille McCullough (Larry) and Betty Niepoth (Dan). Al and Erma had five grandchildren, Lisa Amezcua, (Jose), Dave Simmons (Lilly), Scott Niepoth, Melissa Cross, (Rick), and Lori Niepoth. They have six great-grandchildren, Amber, Amy, Hillary, Ricki, J J, and Alayna. Erma worked in Retail until Al passed away in 1967. Erma then moved to Sacramento to work as a cook for Washington Unified School District. Erma had a love for crafts, flowers, Fort Bragg, and life. She was the most giving, loving, and beautiful person you would ever want to meet. She met and married, Glenn Grover Wilson on Feb. 19, 1982. Erma and Grover moved several times, finally settling back in Chico in 2006. Erma leaves behind a family that will miss their "Grammy Crackers" and mom so very much. She was an inspiration. Services will be held on Friday, January 22, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Brusie Funeral Home. Condolences can be made online at www.brusiefh.com.
