Ernest William Combs

" Palmer- Ernest W. Combs, Jr. 40, of Griffin St. in Bondsville passed away July 23, 2003 at Mary Lyon Nursing Home. Born in Orlando, FL on February 27, 1963, he was raised in Bondsville, moved to North Carolina for five years and returned to his hometown two years ago. He served in the Air Force for 4 years at Norfolk, VA. He graduated from Pathfinder High School and was part of the auto mechanic program. Ernest was a production operator at Moen’s in North Carolina. Previously, he was employed at Tambrands. Ernest enjoyed fishing and hunting. He is survived by his mother Patricia (Copeland) Combs and her companion Lucille Seidell with whom he lived. He also leaves two children, Jennifer Sue Combs, and Nicholas Scott Combs both of Ware, a sister Lorie Dobitsky and her husband Thomas of Chicopee Falls, he is also survived by his former wife Sandra (Roche) Ransom of Three Rivers and George & Janice Lovell of Palmer and many cousins and friends. A funeral service will be held Monday at 10:00am at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Four Corners Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Sunday from 4-7:00 p.m. The family has asked that donations be made in Ernest’s memory to VNA and Hospice of Western New England, 50 Maple St., Springfield, MA. "
