Ernest "Ernie" Duerst

Ernest "Ernie," Duerst, Jr., 45, of Pensacola, Florida and formerly of St. Petersburg, Florida, died Saturday, February 17, 2007 in Lafayette, Louisiana. He was born in Cherry Hill, New Jersey and moved to Florida in 1976. He was a Painting Contractor and enjoyed hunting and Golf. He is survived by one daughter, Tara R. Duerst; one son, Hunter Garrett Duerst both of St. Petersburg; his mother, Virginia Booth of Bridgeton, New Jersey; two sisters, Bobbi O'Connell of Bridgeton, Aleen Gay of Richmond, Virginia; four nieces and nephews, Tiffany, Maria, Bobby and Daniel O'Connell all of Bridgeton and his former wife Tracy of St. Petersburg.
