Ernest T. Kowalski, of Woodbury Heights, New Jersey, passed away on December 19, 2020. He was 66. A strong-willed man with a positive personality that was infectious, Ernie, as he was affectionately known cherished every day he could spend with his family and doing the things he loved to do. Ernie was a Health and Physical Education Teacher for 23 years at Evesham Township Board of Education where he taught elementary students. He had a true passion and gift for teaching. Ernie was very active in the Boy Scout's and was always present for his children's activities and aspirations. Ernie overcame many health obstacles during his life. He was a grateful recipient of a liver transplant. Through this selfless act, Ernie was given 22 additional years to spend with his family and continue to enjoy and cherish life. Because of this, Ernie's family asks that you consider becoming an organ donor so that you can give life to someone who may be facing obstacles just as Ernie has. Son of the late Ernest A. Kowalski, he is the beloved husband to Karen (Zrinscak); devoted father of Nickolas (Ashley), Raymond (Renee) and Julie (Rich); treasured son of Mary Kowalski; loving grandfather to Caiden; dear brother of Eric Kowalski (Irene), John Kowalski (Jamie) and Steve Kowalski (Regina). Ernie is also survived by many cherished nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Funeral Services for Ernie will be held privately for his immediate family. A Celebration of Life will be announced in the future, when his life and legacy may be celebrated fully.
