Ernie was raised in Salinas, CA and later resided in the central valley. He died tragically at the age of 37 years. Ernie's passion was his family and softball. He took great joy in making people laugh, spending time with his family and raising their grand children. Ernie is survived by his wife Angie Miranda, his father, Ernie Miranda, mother and step father, Irene and Ross Occhipinti, and his brothers, Erick and Richard Miranda. Visitation will be held Sunday, September 20, 2020 from 1 - 9 PM at the Healey Mortuary, 405 N. Sanborn Rd., Salinas, CA. Family services will be held on Monday, September 21, 2020 in Salinas.

At Healey, we treat our Salinas Valley community members like family. Our story begins after World War II when Veteran Herbert C. Healey hoped to find a way to continue to meaningfully help his county and community grow. He and his wife founded Salinas Valley Mortuary in 1956 to help serve the families in the Salinas Valley area. Their lifelong mission was to unselfishly serve area families based on their strong, trusting relationship with their community – something we honor to this day almost seven decades years later....
