Mrs. Essie Mae Morgan, age 93, a resident of Lehigh Acres passed away Saturday, January 24, 2015, at the Hospice House due to natural causes. Mrs. Morgan was born November 3, 1921, in Newton, Alabama to William Samuel and Lulu Mae (Travis) Tindell. Essie graduated from Graceville High School in Holmes County. She was a resident of Lehigh Acres since 2009 coming from Winter Haven. Essie was a homemaker and a member of The Way at Inwood Baptist Church. She enjoyed needle point, sewing and crafts. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Morgan; 2 sisters, Mary & Mildred. Essie is survived by her loving family; 2 sons, Kelly (Nancy) Morgan of Lehigh Acres and Frank (Joanne) Morgan of Boynton Beach; brother, Hugh (Ann) Tindell of Pensacola; sister, Shirley (Earl) Hortman of Okeechobee; and 2 grandsons, Joshua & Christopher.
