Estel Ralph Miller

MILLER, Estel Ralph, 80, of Land O’ Lakes, Fla., passed away Thursday, July 21, 2011. He was born in Platte County, Missouri and moved to Fla. from Kansas City, Missouri in 1959. Ralph was an U. S. Air Force Veteran. He was the owner and operator of Miller’s Sheet Metal. Ralph was a life member of Local 15 Sheet Metal Union and was a Land O’ Lakes volunteer fireman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, bluegrass music and panning for gemstones. Ralph is survived by his companion of 17 years, Ann Conley of Land O’ Lakes; three daughters, Deborah Wilpon and her husband, Michael of Hollywood, Fla., Marcia DeVries of Venice, Fla., Jennifer Cortez and her husband, Gabriel of Venice and their mother, Virginia Miller of Hollywood, Fla; sister, Louise Worlow and her husband, Andy of Texas; eight grandchildren, Brian, Jessica, Naomi, Zachary, Cody, Chloe, Gabriella and Alani; three great grandchildren, Rafe, Alex and Stella and many other family members and life long friends. A memorial service will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at Loyless Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Fla. on Friday, August 5th at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Lung Association.
