Esther Lewis Bell

Esther Lewis Bell, 88, passed away on Monday, January 15, 2024. The wife of the late Walter Carl Bell, Esther was born October 8, 1935, to the late Andrew Jackson Lewis, Sr and Opal Giliam Snipes. Esther loved being home where she could raise and tend both flower and vegetable gardens as well as create beautiful quilts and sew. Esther is survived by her children, Lisa (Kenneth) Crum of Huntington, West Virginia and Thomas (Maria) Bell of Cynthiana, Kentucky; sisters, Dolly Jenkins of Somerset and Thelma Finch of Lexington; a brother, Alvin Spears of Frankfort; her grandchildren, Derek Thomas Bell, Jared Scott Bell, Brandon Thomas Bell, and Zachary Tyler Cinnamon; and her great-grandchildren, Matthew Thomas Bell, Ethan James Bell, Samuel Owen Bell, and Cameron James Cinnamon. In addition to her loving husband, Walter Carl Bell, Esther was preceded in death by her sister, Mable Black, and a brother, Andrew Jackson Lewis, Jr. A Funeral Service will be held 11:00a, Friday, January 19, 2024, at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd, Frankfort, with burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Frankfort. Derek Bell, Michael Jenkins, Larry Richardson, Zachary Cinnamon, Brandon Bell, Ryan Barrass, and Jordan Barrass will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 9:00a until the time of service on Friday, at the funeral home.
