Esther Ruth Hendrick
March 12th, 1932 - December 23rd, 2019
Mrs. Esther R. Hendrick, a former resident of Cobb County, passed away on Dec 23 at her current residence in Lakeland, Fl. Mrs. Hendrick was a retired teacher from the Marietta City School system. She was a minister & long time missionary for the Assembly of God Faith. Esther was born March 12, 1932 in Florence Villa, FL to Charles David and Dahlia (Smith) Howze. Esther graduated from Wauchula High School & graduated with an Associate’s Degree from Southeastern Bible College in Lakeland, Fl. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband – K. Lewis Hendrick; brothers - Aaron & Charles Howze, sister – Connie Eudine Stansell & 2 nieces. Esther is survived by: her brother - David Howze Jr., 3 Daughters - Dahlia (Jay), Teresa, Charlotte (Brandon), step children Gerald (Beth) & Gina (Steve), Niece – Delora (Greg) Herndon, Nephew – Terry (Jackie) Stancil, Sponsored child - Gunandi, 12 grandchildren - Tangela , Matthew (Melissa), Ryan, Sara (Matt), Lauren, Stephanie, Rio, Jimi, Cyrena (Zack), Jada, Mylan & Sage. 3 Gr. Grandchildren – Hannah, Alana & Hawk. Caregiver - Maribel Roldan. Funeral was held Dec. 27th at Kersey Funeral Home & Mrs. Esther Hendrick was laid to rest at the Auburndale Memorial Park in Auburndale, FL., next to her husband. Love lives on.
