Esther Jiron

Our dear and precious mom, Esther Maria Jiron, went home to be with our Lord and Savior, peacefully at home on Friday November 19,2021 at the age of 90. She was born in Antonito Colorado but was a lifelong resident of Albuquerque NM. Our mother is preceded in death by her husband Conrado Jiron SR, four children Rosemary Jiron, Fabian Jiron, David Jiron, Gary Jiron. She is survived by her six children, Sharon Rubi, Conrado Jiron JR, Dennis Jiron, Randy Jiron,Tracy Jiron, and Yvette Lujan. Their wives and significant others. 14 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and numerous great great grandchildren, and her precious little poodle Vigo. Our mother was a very strong and courageous woman that kept her family together through hardship and adversity. She always wanted a big family and was very proud of her children’s accomplishments. Our mother was an avid cook, puzzle maker, gardener and seamstress. Our mother worked a fulltime job and had a career in electronics while raising a family. Even through poverty she found away to take care of her children. There are so many cherished memories of our mother, but one that stands out is her tenacity to make sure that her children always had a Christmas no matter how little she had to give. She had a silver Christmas tree and fake fireplace that she put up for us to show us that she never forgot her love for us. Our mother showed how courageous she was by beating cancer for seven years until she succumbed to it. Her generous and giving heart will always be remembered as her most endearing quality. We love you mom with all our hearts! We will always think of you and cherish the memories that you left us with. A Celebration of our mothers’ life with be conducted at Our Lady of Assumption church located at 811 Guaymas Pl NE. Albuquerque, NM 87108. On December 17,2021 at 10:00 am. Following the service, a gathering of family and friends are invited to join in a remembrance meal at 7305 Oro Viejo NW Albuquerque, NM 87120. Burial Services will be later due to Covid.
