Esther ""Kitty"" Kathryn Mosier

Esther Kathryn Mosier Age: 80 Residence: LaSalle Kathryn "Kitty” Mosier, 80, beloved mom, grandma, great-grandma, sister, aunt, cousin & friend died on Tuesday Feb. 3 at Bee Hive Homes in Evans. She was under the loving care of Bee Hive Home employees, Mountain Valley Hospice of Windsor and Lisa and Vicky of RVNA. "Kitty” was born in Parks, Nebraska on February 21, 1928 to Asa & Georgia Ellis. She was one of twelve children brought up in a loving home. After school "Kitty” moved with her sister Bonnie to Denver, CO were they resided. As young women they perfected the art of baking until they moved to Greeley were she met the love of her life Russell Mosier. Kathryn and Russell married on September 26, 1948 and celebrated their 60th anniversary last September. "Kitty” lived in LaSalle on the family farm helping with chores, taking care of her family and being an extraordinary house wife until recently moving to Bee Hive Homes. "Kitty” loved reading, taking long walks, gardening, baking and spoiling her grandchildren. She loved her family and was dedicated to their happiness. Throughout life’s trials and tribulations she was always devoted to the Lord. She was a former member of LaSalle Baptist Church & Gilcrest Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Russell Mosier of LaSalle; her daughter and son-in-law, Mark & Karen Jenkins of LaSalle, her grandchildren; Stephanie & Russell MacLennan of Bennett, Angela & Adam Turk and great-grandchild Kaden of Greeley; Gabriel Jenkins of Johnstown and Benjamin Jenkins of Kauai, HI; brother Jack Ellis of Evans; sisters Edna Peterson of Grapevine TX, Bonnie Mitchell of Greeley, Shirley Stiley of Greeley, and Gladys Otten of LaSalle. Proceeded in Death, her parents Asa & Georgia Ellis; brothers Russell Ellis, Don Ellis, Chuck Ellis & Gene Ellis; sisters, Irene Lewis & Deanna Boyer and beloved son Russell Ellis Mosier. Viewing: Friday Evening from 5:00 pm- 7:00 pm at Adamson Chapel. Services: 10 a.m. on Feb. 7th at the First Baptist Church of LaSalle, 102 S Walnut St La Salle, CO. Interment: Sunset Memorial Gardens Memorial gifts may be made to Bee Hive Homes in Evans or Mountain Valley Hospice of Windsor in care of Adamson Funeral & Cremation Services 2000 47th Avenue Greeley, Colorado 80634.
