Ethel “Red” May Czerwinski, age 98, of Venice, FL formally of Huntington Station, NY passed away on September 12, 2024. Ethel was born in Brooklyn, NY to Walter and May Miller on November 26, 1925. Ethel worked as a bank teller for many years before retiring to Venice, FL in 1979, she was a member of Covenant Church of Bay Indies and the Grumman Retiree Club.

Ethel is preceded in death by her husband John Czerwinski; son Robert Johanson; daughter-in-law Betty Johanson; and stepson James Czerwinski.

Left to cherish her memory is her granddaughter Jessica Johanson (Crystal Myers); great-grandsons Joel and Shane; stepsons Johnny Czerwinski (Joan), Dave Czerwinski, and Alex Czerwinski; sister Clara Millar; nephew Bill Lane; nieces Patty Twigg, and Kathy Brown. 

A celebration of Ethel’s life will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2024, from 12 to 2 pm at 262 St. Augustine Ave., Venice, FL 34285
