Etta Jean Adcox
July 24th, 1945 - March 14th, 2024
After a long illness God called Jean home on March 14, 2024 to her heavenly home to be with her Lord and Savior. Jean was born on July 24, 1945 in Miami, Oklahoma. She grew up in Modesto, California. She is survived by her husband Jim Adcox, two children Darron Stevenson and Roberta Myers; 10 grandchildren: Levi Stevenson, Veronica Stevenson, Ashlea Stevenson, Robert Jr Myers, Treston Myers, Joshua Myers. Jean also has step-children Bobbie Stevenson, Sonny Stevenson, Jim, Ron, Bryan Adcox all of California as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Vera and Ray Breashers, her sisters Gloria Gillum, Alma Rhodes; brothers Leonard Breashers, John Breashers and Lloyd Breashers. Jean had a great love for her family and also for her church family. She was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church in Caldwell, where she met many of her dear life-long friends. Jean enjoyed many things in life: traveling, especially fishing, camping, outdoors, getting together with friends and family, going to church where she loved to sing – she had her favorite songs she would sing in church. Jean will be missed here on Earth by many. She was saved and knew the Lord as her Savior so we will see her again one day when God calls us to be with him, Jean will be there. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 22, 2024 at 11:00 am as Flahiff Funeral Chapel in Caldwell. Interment will follow at Canyon Hill Cemetery in Caldwell. Idaho.
