Eugene Ybarra Garcia
March 20th, 1934 - January 27th, 2015
Eugene (Geno) Ybarra Garcia, 80, entered into rest on January 27, 2015 at Rideout Memorial Hospital. Geno was born on March 20, 1934 in Sabinal, Texas to Santiago and Rosa Garcia. He was a Yuba City resident for 79 years and attended Tierra Buena Elementary School. He retired from Harris Ranch in Meridian after 20 years of employment as a farmer. He is survived by a daughter Delores Rogers and his two sons George and Rick; four sisters Ramona McGrath, Isabel Garcia, Lydia Garcia and Barbara Jupina; three brothers Alex Garcia, Victor Garcia and Felix Garcia; two granddaughters Leslie Lewis and Stephanie Valdez; two grandsons Eric Rogers and Alfred Garcia; seven great grandchildren followed by countless nieces, nephews and cousins all from Yuba City. This includes his favorite pet Piolin. He is preceded in death by his wife of 54 years Carmen and son Alfred Garcia and his parents Santiago and Rosa Garcia; sister Connie Garcia and brothers Henry Garcia and Marcelino Garcia. Rosary will be Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at 6:00 pm at Ullrey Memorial Chapel. Services will be Thursday, February 5, 2015 at 10:00 am at St. Isidore Catholic Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Ullrey Memorial Chapel.
