Eugene "Gene” Hahn, 70, of Grover, CO went home with his Lord and Savior on April 9, 2015 at Hospice of Northern Colorado in Greeley, CO. He was born May 5, 1944 in Kimball, NE to Edward and Louise (Harms) Hahn. Gene grew up in Grover and graduated from Grover High School. On October 22, 1967 in Burns, WY he married Sharon Sandberg. Gene served in the Air National Guard’s 153rd Armored Airlift Group for 6 years in Cheyenne, WY. Gene loved his cattle, flower garden, and leather craft. He was a charter member of the Grover FFA, a 4-H leader and fair superintendent for Weld County and Grover Guys and Gals for 45 years. Gene loved working with kids of all ages. He was a lifetime member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Grover, a member of the Pawnee Grazing Association and various other Co-Ops. Gene is survived by his wife, Sharon of Grover; son, Kevin (Michelle) Hahn of Grover; grandchildren, Kaylie Hahn of Fort Morgan, CO, Kelby Hahn of Berthoud, CO, Kelsie Hahn of Pine Bluff, WY, Jaycie Hahn of Grover; sister, Evelyn (Bill) Hoffman of Grover; and numerous other nieces , nephews, and other family members. Gene was a very loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Becky Nadine Hahn; and brother, LeRoy Hahn. Viewing will be on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 from 5-7 p.m. at Adamson Chapel, 2000 47th Avenue, Greeley, CO 80634 and from 10-11 a.m. with funeral service at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 3000 35th Avenue, Greeley, CO 80634. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions can be made to "Zion Lutheran Church” in care of Adamson Funeral & Cremation Services, 2000 47th Avenue, Greeley, CO 80634.
