Eugene "Buddy" Wendall Seeberg
August 20th, 1939 - December 18th, 2017
Eugene Wendall Seeberg Jr., 78, of Caldwell, died Monday, December 18, 2017 at home of natural causes. Eugene “Buddy” was born on August 20, 1939 in Oakland, California to Eugene Sr. and Ellene Seeberg. He was proud to have served in the Navy for his country that he loved dearly. Buddy took pride in and loved working in the communication field. He started as a lineman, then as a splicer and retired as an inspector for Verizon. Buddy and Diane were married for 40 years, thru good times and hard times it was always just the two of them until the end. He will never be forgotten. If you knew Buddy well, you would know that his favorite food was fried potatoes and chili. His favorite greeting was, “Howdy, Howdy, Howdy.” He enjoyed starting his morning by watching the Fox News Channel, and loved watching old western movies, and football – especially the San Francisco 49ers. Relaxing to him and Diane was taking a ride in his Jeep Wrangler; something they enjoyed from the day they met. He was always wearing Wrangler jeans, hats, and a pair of cowboy boots. After he retired, his dogs, Zoey, Buster and Molly, became the highlight of his day; furthermore, his favorite and most enjoyable activity was making a trip with Diane and the dogs in the RV trailer. Graveside memorial services will be held Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Canyon Hill Cemetery in Caldwell, Idaho.
