Memorial

Eugene Lawrence Viglione died on Feb. 15, 2018 in Matthews, North Carolina. Born in 1931 to Fedeli Franco and Caroline (Cantilina) Viglione, "Gene" was a fun-loving adventurer who thought nothing of moving over 80 times with his wife and their 4 children in tow, staying in each place until he got a "better offer". He was a salesman for Ford Motor Company in New Jersey, Germany, Okinawa, California, Hawaii and Florida and retired from Lexus Beverly Hills. Gene enjoyed bachelorhood for the past 20 years after having married twice- first to Vera Yonkers, mother of his four children; Victoria (Honolulu), David (deceased), Valerie (Fort Lauderdale) and Vanessa aka "Queenie" (Captiva)- and later to Evila Larez. An inspiration to his grandchildren Gaur, Amber and David and great grandchildren Sophia, Anthony, Ewan and Elle, Gene will be remembered as Marine, outstanding salesman, Rotarian, Light Bringer, creative chef, friend to stray dogs, story teller, positive thinker, and fan of surprise parties. Memorials will be on-going and take place worldwide, whenever friends and family gather.
