Eunice Mae Channing

We have lost our Family Matriarch Eunice passed November 7, 2020 with family by her side. She was born November 15th 1924 in Murdo South Dakota to Cassius and Marie (Palander) Cline. The 5th of 6 children. Eunice grew up in the Puyallup valley, graduating from Puyallup High School in 1944 where she had been a yell leader. She was married twice. The second to Cecil L Channing of Orting, Washington in 1954. Eunice had many careers in her life but the most important was receiving her LPN Nursing degree when she was 50 years old. She was a long time nurse for Duffy,Diller, Lietz and Biljan of Sumner. Eunice and Cecil made their home on Bonney Lake and raised their 3 children there. We have many Happy Memories of gatherings with family and friends but the slippin slide is the best. She loved gardening, crafts and spending time with her family. Cecil and Eunice traveled extensively thru out the US and spent their winters in the California/ Arizona area for many years.She is survived by her 4 children: Pamela Brown (Vance), Lewis Channing, Mark Channing (Victoria), and Kimberly Channing-Roberts (David), 7 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren. She was proceeded in death by Cecil and 1 great-grandchild.The Family would like to Thank the Staff of Heritage House in Buckley for the excellent care they gave her, especially at the end. Interment at Sumner City Cemetery,
