Eunice Griswold
August 13th, 1924 - January 23rd, 2005
"Eunice R. (Higgins) Griswold, 80, formerly of Belchertown died Sunday, January 23 at Sunbridge Nursing Home in Hadley. Born in Northampton, August 13, 1924, she lived in Belchertown for many years. She was a member of Dwight Chapel and active in Hands Across the Valley Quilt Guild as she loved quilting and made quilts for many family members. Her husband Lyman “Lefty” Griswold died in 2000. She will be missed by her two sons Richard Tarbox of Granby and Edward Griswold of Belchertown, along with her two daughters Susan Coates of Anchorage, Alaska and Rebecca Pobieglo of Belchertown. She also leaves a brother Curtis Higgins of Rochester, NY and 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held in her honor on Friday, February 11 at 11:00 a.m. at the Dwight Chapel in Belchertown. Beers & Story Belchertown Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements. Donations may be made in her memory to Dwight chapel Missions, P.O. Box 1270, Belchertown, MA 01007"
