Eva Jean Luce

Eva Jean Luce Eva age 73, passed away at home in Rainier, WA with her family on Wednesday, January 26, 2011. She was born October 5, 1937 in Aztec, New Mexico to her parents Ervin Ray Truby and Alice Edith (Hippler) Truby. Eva was a devoted mother and then later, as the children came of age she returned to work. Eva worked in the JM McConkey Co Transportation Department in Sumner, WA handling company truck and driver DOT safety compliance and later as safety compliance officer/dispatcher for Michael’s Fast Freight in Rainier, WA. Eva enjoyed gardening and spending time with her miniature donkeys Poncho and Christopher. Surviving her are husband, Michael Gary Luce, sons, Russell Wade Luce and Kevin Ray Luce, Sisters, Viola Truby and Bonnie Mayo, brother, David Truby, sister in law, Ann Luce, daughter in law, Dana Luce, brothers in law, John Mayo and Mark Luce, grandchildren, Andrew and Matthew Luce and numerous nieces and nephews and loving friend Leann Gibson.
