Eva-Maria Haug

Haug, Eva-Maria “Eva”, 94, of Clearwater Beach, FL passed away September 19, 2022, in Assistive Living at The Oaks of Clearwater. Born in Angerapp, Ostpreußen (Germany) and emigrated to America after WWII. She was preceded in death by her parents, Karl and Magdalena Wauschkuhn; her siblings Elsa Taege and Gerd Wauschkuhn; and her dear husband, Albert, whom she was married to for 61 years. Eva-Maria is survived by her twin sons John (Kristi) Haug, and James (Denise) Haug. Eva met her husband, Albert, at Briggs & Stratton where they both worked, and they got married on July 2, 1955. They raised their boys in a loving home in Wauwatosa, WI, and eventually decided to retire in Clearwater Beach, Florida where they had started vacationing in 1972. Eva’s family, relatives, and friends had always been very important to her. She was a very strong, courageous, and loving individual. Her favorite things to do were visiting with family, going to church on Sunday and taking cruise vacations. Eva’s beautiful smile and charming spirit will be remembered by all who knew her. She will be terribly missed. There will be a gathering of Eva's friends and family on Saturday,November 19th, 2022, at Wisconsin Memorial Park - Chapel of the Chimes, 13235 W. Capitol Drive, Brookfield at 10:15am followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00am. She will be laid to rest in Wisconsin Memoriall Parki. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Christ Lutheran Church.
