Evan Ryan May

Evan Ryan May, age 22 passed away from this earth on August 25, 2024 in Aztec, New Mexico.  Evan was born in Farmington New Mexico March 28, 2002 to Erica Lynn May and Daniel J. Sheets,  Evan was blessed with his fiancé April Lynn Gomez and their children Thomas Anthony and Geneva Elizabeth Gomez. 

Evan is survived by both of his parents Erica May, Daniel (Sabrina) Sheets, and bonus Father Brian Adams.  Brother's David Austin May, Cameron Adams, Xyler Martin, Levi, Ronan and Donny Sheets, and Sisters, Alice Schuessler, Justice Adams, Racheal, Nuvia and Trinity Sheets.  Grandparents, Nancy and Darryl Newton, Grandfather Don Sheets Sr,and Gregory Newton.  Uncles, Derek and Shawn May, Seth Sheets, Don Sheets Jr(Carmen),  Aunts, Jamie May, Wendy Ferguson, Rebecca and Amy May, Melissa Lightner (Dan), Jessica Dennison, Jeannie Bryant, Caren Christian and Cathy Martinez. Numerous Cousin Sisters, Cousin Brothers, Best friends Caleb and Xane Markle, Daylenn Reid (Cierra).

Evan is proceeded in death by his Great Grandparents Leon W, and Esther M. May.  His Brother Jacob Patrick Adams May, Cousin Sister Elizabeth Ann Niemeyer, Cousin William "Billy" Drake and numerous Aunts and Uncles. 

Services will be held September 14, 2024 at Crossroads Community Church with Pastor Dave West on Butler Avenue, Farmington, New Mexico at 1 p.m. with a potluck at Civitan Park following service.  

We are inviting everyone to a Suicide Prevention Gathering September 10th. from 6-7 at Aztec Speedway.  A time of Remembrance, Awareness, and Hope.  Please bring pictures.
