We are heart broken to announce the unexpected passing of Evan St.Romain on September 10, 2024 at the young age of 23. Evan was born in Tampa, Florida on June 26, 2001 and resided in Land O Lakes, Florida.

Evan was known for his adventurous spirit, compassionate heart and infectious smile. He loved fishing, riding ATV’s, hunting, boating, cooking and spending time with his family and friends. Evan lived his life to the fullest making every minute count. His positive attitude allowed him to embrace every moment with joy and gratitude.

Evan’s favorite place to be Camp 4-Wheeler in the Ocala National Forest. He had a great sense of direction and was counted on to lead the rides as he knew every trail in the forest. He made sure to experience everything the beautiful forest had to offer.

After graduating from Land O Lakes High School in 2019 he attended Pasco Hernando State College and then went on to study Professional Welding and Pipefitting in Jacksonville, Florida. After graduation he returned to start his career as an Ironworker and Welder with Local Union 397 in Tampa. Recently his passion for helping others led him to the Pasco County Police Academy to pursue a career in law enforcement.

Evan is survived by his parents Scott and Keica St.Romain, brother and sister in law Alex and Meghan St.Romain, soon to arrive nephew Caden St.Romain, Grandfather Gary Moffitt, loving aunts and uncles, numerous cousins who were also his best friends, amazing extended family, his girlfriend and very close long time friends.

Though he left this world far too soon, Evan’s legacy will live on in the hearts of those he touched. He will be remembered for his courage, generosity, kindness, love of the outdoors and the indelible mark he left on all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A celebration of Evan’s life will be held on September 28th with visitation at 11am, service at 12pm-2pm and fellowship following. Land O Lakes Church of God, Land O Lakes Blvd.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to “The Children’s Heart Foundation” www.childrensheartfoundation.org To advance the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of congenital heart defects.

I can’t believe this is real & that we are on here to send off our love. In only a few months of you being in our life, you fit in like you were part of our family. Such a loving & genuine soul. A gentleman, silly, hard working, caring, a fun time, good to my children & nephews & the rest of us. I will miss you being at our family gatherings & rancho will forever have a hole in my heart. My heart breaks for everyone who loved you so deeply. I know I told you how much I ADORED you as a person. But, we just did not have enough time with you. & I know God doesn’t make mistakes. But, this one hurts so much. I pray Jesus is giving you the sweetest & most loving hugs. I hope you are up there smiling with your adorable and handsome smile. I’m going to miss you Evan! Love you buddy.

To my sweetest nephew, Your kind heart and gentle spirit touched everyone who was fortunate enough to know you. You were always there with a helping hand, ready to make someone’s day brighter with your smile. Your love for the outdoors and your joy in spending time with family are memories I will forever cherish. Loved all our rides together, whether on the ATV, the boat, golf cart or in your big truck . Though you may no longer be with us in body, your beautiful soul and the love you shared will always remain in our hearts. You are missed every day, but your light will continue to shine. With all my love, Aunt Kelly
